The Groove Hog summer schedule is beginning to “fatten
up” a little. If you’re like me (and I know I
am!), summer always seems to “be here before you know
it” and then disappears just as suddenly. How many
times have you found yourself cleaning up your yard in the
late autumn (getting ready for winter… ugggh!) and
thinking to yourself that you really didn’t do much
this summer?
With any luck there were some things you did while the weather
was warm that bring a smile to your face as you look back
on them. Well, consider this your Groove Hog wake up call!
For those of us who live up here in the upper mid-western
United States, summer can go by pretty quickly! The Groove
hogs remind you to start planning your summer “good
times” now! Make plans to do some things so that you
can feel good about having taken advantage of the warm weather
to get outdoors.
Outdoor concerts and music festivals should be seriously
considered. This summer you’ll be able to see The Groove
Hogs playing outdoors on many stages from the very large
(“Rhythm and Booms Festival ” in Madison ,
WI) to the not quite so large (various county fairs). Keep
an eye on the Groove Hog tour dates to see when they’ll
be coming to an outdoor venue close to you. When you spot
one, GO FOR IT!!! Nothing seems such a shame as to miss a
good show when it comes to you. Grab the Hog by the tail
(figurative speaking, of course!) this summer, have some
fun, and hear some great music. It’s been said that “Good
things come and go… mostly go!” Make sure to
plan on getting your Groove Hog fix this summer. After all,
it’s
going to be a long winter after that! (ouch!!!)
Talk to you soon!
